Don’t miss Rev. Rosie Potestio’s Workshop
TOMORROW! Saturday, March 21, 2015

We can hold a grudge, or we can forgive. When we forgive, we release our self from a painful burden. Forgiveness does not mean that what happened was OK. Forgiveness simply means that we have made peace with pain and are ready to set it down and move beyond the hurt into a brighter and more joyful present and future.
This retreat/workshop offers a different way of thinking about and practicing forgiveness. You are in charge, you are not the injured party, and no longer rehashing the past over and over.
A Day of Forgiveness focuses on understanding what forgiveness is, what it is not and the role our younger self plays in our current decisions. We will look closely at the physical and spiritual benefits of forgiving. Participants acquire practical tools for the process of forgiving self and others.

Led by:
Rosie Potestio, Interfaith Spiritual Director
Commissioned Minister for Spiritual Direction
The path of forgiveness is one of the most
important tools used in spiritual direction. Rosie has led these forgiveness workshops for Osher Lifelong Learning (OLLI), private groups and local churches, as well as using
these tools in individual counseling.

Why We Sing!
Our First Ever Choir Concert Fundraiser
was a huge success!

Our Spirit Choir, under the direction of Linda Snodgrass along with special performances by choir members and special guest cellist, John Mescall performed for a full house last Friday evening.

We are so appreciative of ALL the wonderful members (too many to mention), who volunteered time, treasure and talents to make this such a Grand Success. Thank you.

A marvelous time was had by all!

A new volunteer opportunity to be of sacred service!

“The Sacred Service Coordinator (SSC) team needs help. We are seeking a new member who would be responsible for setting up the
Sunday morning service including: signs, podium, candles and camera. Please see Don Converse to volunteer for a way to give service to your spiritual center in a fulfilling and satisfying way.”

Premiering April 4th…

big, the m
usical
April 4 to May 3
Thu, Fri, Sat – 7:30 pm….Sun 2:00 pm
Big, the musical is energetic, humorous, and heartwarming!
Young Josh Baskin makes a wish to be ‘big’ on the Zoltar machine at the carnival. He wakes the next morning in the body of a 30 year old! His youthful spirit and teenage insight help him land an executive job at McMillan Toys. However, when love enters the picture in the form of the lovely Susan Lawrence, Josh begins to wonder if being “big” should wait. This musical comedy is full of upbeat singing and dancing and it guarantees a fun night for all.

When “Big, The Musical” opens on April 4, four of our Center members will take the stage. Macy Boyle
Tina Bratcher, Mary Carlisle and Don Converse are hard at work preparing to entertain us all with their musical and theatrical talents. CTC has blocked out 20 tickets for Center members on
April 26 for the 1:00 pm matinee. Tickets are $25 (with a small portion of the ticket price returning to our Center). This is a not-so-Big-fundraiser for our Center and gives us a chance to go together as their cheering section. If you are interested and available to attend this matinee, please sign up in Loftus Hall.
