Did you know?
One does not have to be a licensed Practitioner to ‘sit in High Watch’?
If you are a seasoned meditator who loves to sit in the stillness and would like to serve on a very special team, please contact Rev. Duchess or John Boyle for information.
John and Rev. DD will be holding a brief training this fall to welcome members into this Circle of consciousness and service.
Thank you!

What is creativity? Without creative powers, humankind would still be living in caves, without any new ideas or advancement. It is in this class that we learn to harness the power of Creative Mind. Landscaping SOS

Our wonderful Linda George is recuperating from a recent mishap so we need someone who can take her place for the next few weeks to

rake our leaves around the property. We are happy to take one or more volunteers to share the opportunity. If you are interested and available, please schedule your time with Polly by calling the office, 895-8395 or emailing her at:office@chiconewthought.org

September Change for Change: The Chico Fire Department 9/11 Memorial Project

Chico Firefighters would like to provide a lasting memorial to those that died in the attacks on
September 11th, 2001 at the World Trade Center, Pentagon and in Shankesville, PA. The memorial is designed to display a piece of steel from the World Trade Center in a way that is respectful and honors the lives and memories of those killed and injured that day. It is envisioned that this memorial will become a destination for those living in the community, as well as those who are visiting. It will provide historical information and a place to reflect on the events of that sad day.

Each month, our Center selects a viable non-profit organization-usually within Chico – that we can support with our loose change. We encourage you to bring your spare change so that we may contribute tangible change along with our philosophy of changing one’s

thinking to change lives.  Look for the big water jug in the foyer as you leave the Center. Thank you.
