The In-Between

It is a unique time for us here at the Chico New Thought Center.

We are on the homestretch for our leaving our current Center ‘home’ and entering into the first phase of our new paradigm. We are no longer straddling the fence as to whether or not to move– the building is now officially sold — and we are stepping out and onto new ground metaphorically and geographically.

We don’t change what we are, we change what we think what we are.” Eric Butterworth

This entire process can be confrontative to many of our inner voices and beliefs. Letting go and change is often daunting. For example, Eileen is overseeing the rather large task of packing up our operations here at Lakeside and prepare to move them to . . .?
Ah, now you get it. We don’t have our new temporary office space as yet so there is the added element of uncertainty along with the clock ticking and calendar pages tearing off to our April 29th handing over the keys to the new owners.

There is no doubt in my mind that there are multiple reasons and merits to the apparent nomad existence facing us. And many more blessings that await us as we venture into Chapman Town for our Sunday services.

For now, in the “in-between” use this time to evaluate where you are in terms of commitment and community. Ask yourself the deeper questions about what you value and desire from our Center and be willing hear the answers and be willing to do the ‘work.’ Find ways to make it viable and personal for you to understand your part in this moving forward that we share.

And stay in communication with us and with that “still small voice within” to hear the comfort and or guidance that you seek.
